Part 1: Make Your Defense

Why do you follow Jesus Christ?  The early Christians were being arrested as insurrectionists for proclaiming that Jesus is Lord and that He was raised bodily from the dead.  Peter wrote to them to encourage them to not wilt under interrogation, but rather make a bold defense for why they believed that Jesus was God.  In a culture where a shared Christian belief can no longer be assumed, it’s crucial that you be able to answer this question, too.
