The mission of Jesus keeps moving, and the resistance keeps rising.  The apostles are arrested and beaten, but they refuse to stop speaking in the name of Jesus.  But their courage does not come from trying harder; it comes from the Holy Spirit working through surrendered lives. Trying really hard to be a good Christian is exhausting.  What if that was never the way?  This Sunday, we will ask what might change if we stopped trying hard to live the Christian life and began asking the Spirit to live it through us.
