What is the One Thing Project? We focus on one thing we can do to make a difference in our community, and then we get to work! We have collected everything from school supplies for teachers, meals for local families, to packing meals for those in need through Rise Against Hunger.
Recently, we built a solar-powered apartment out of a shipping container for nurses in Ghana. We have also sent 2 teams to Mexico to build homes for those in need through an organization called Yugo Ministries.

ONE THING PROJECT: FEED MY SHEEP
For our One Thing Project in March, Gray Methodist is partnering with Jesus' Hands Ministry to collect food/snack items for children and families in our school system to be handed out for Spring Break. They have sent us a list of items they would like for us to help them collect which can be picked up at the One Thing Project Table. All donations must be turned in by March 29th so they can start packing bags for the kids.
Clinton Methodist is partnering with Jones County DFCS to collect meals for families to be handed out the week of Spring Break. There is a list of suggested food items for your families at the church. Please have donations in no later then March 29th. Please group your food together in a box or basket for it to be identified and distributed to the families.
