ONE THING PROJECT

What is the One Thing Project?  Each month, we focus on one thing we can do to make a difference in our community, and then we get to work! We have collected everything from socks for veterans, to toothbrushes and toiletries for Kairos Prison Ministry, to packing meals for those in need through Rise Against Hunger.
Recently, we built a solar-powered apartment out of a shipping container for nurses in Ghana.

ONE two THING PROJECT: OCTOBER

PART 1: St. Nick's Necessities

We will be partnering with St. Nick's necessities by collecting hygiene amenities and essential toiletry items for teens in foster care within our community. A list of items can be found by clicking the link below and purchasing items from their wish list at Amazon or Walmart. You can also pick up a printed list from the One Thing Project Table.

PART 2: HURRICANE RELIEF

Our second mission for this month is to help provide items for storm victims from Hurricane Helene. We will have an area set up in the hall for these items, or you can bring them by the church office. They are asking for the following items: Bottled waters, diapers(any size), baby wipes, baby food, infant formula, adult diapers, feminine hygiene products, non-perishable food, and Gatorade. We are partnering with our sister churches in Metter and in Louisville.
Thank you for going above and beyond our meal goal for our One Thing Project in September! We are now able to purchase enough supplies for 25,000 meals!
HOWEVER - IT DOESN'T STOP THERE!!!
We still need volunteers to sign up for our meal backing day on November 10th. Set up will begin at 2PM with the packing party starting at 4PM Please use the link below to volunteer!
