Part 1: The Burden of Proof

The most googled question about God goes something like this:  Why does God allow suffering?  Humanity has asked this question since the beginning.  How should you respond when someone asks this?  What assumptions do we need to uncover?  What cheap answers do we need to resist?  And most important, how do we help someone who is going through suffering that might wreck their faith?  For the next three weeks, Pastor Jason will help us understand some of the key issues around the problem of suffering so that we can honestly and compassionately help others who struggle to reconcile their pain with a good, loving God.
