Part 12: The Right Question

If you don’t have the right question, you won’t get the right answer.  That’s the major issue with Romans 9-11.  By not understanding the question Paul is answering here, many well-intentioned Christians have created elaborate, self-contradicting theological systems out of Romans 9-11 about salvation.  But Romans 9-11 isn’t about salvation; it’s about mission.  It’s about the integrity and trustworthiness of God to do what he promised the Jews he would do.  After all, if God broke his promise to the Jews to use them as light to the nations, then you and I can’t trust the promises He made to us.  But God doesn’t break his promises.  He’ll never toss you aside.  As long as there’s breath in your lungs, He has a purpose for you
