Character Collision

Paul has already told Timothy to make sure that his sound teaching is accompanied by faith and love.  Without those, his teaching would just be meaningless noise.  Paul learned that the best way to deal with opponents is how Jesus dealt with His opponents.  And if that’s true for Paul and Timothy, it’s true for me and you, too.  When the character of Christ in us collides with the character traits of this world, Jesus always comes out the winner.
