Part 3: Righteousness is the Reason

Text:  Romans 1:8-17  In the second half of his introduction, Paul shares his focus–the righteousness of God given to humans through faith in Jesus.  This is the gospel.  For Paul, the gospel isn’t limited to our initial acceptance of Christ.  The gospel saves those who believe and continue in believing.  And how do we know if we actually believe the gospel?  Our faith is revealed by our obedience.
